Registration Guide

Deadline:
The deadline for registering for lodging at Chapman University and/or childcare is May 27, but please help us plan by turning in your registration materials as soon as possible. Anyone registering before April 15 will receive a $20 discount on their registration fee! The deadline to register for the Hand Pump Repair Training in San Luis Obispo is June 8.

1. Contact Information
   List the names of all Conference participants. Please provide as much information as possible. We won’t share your contact information with anyone outside Lifewater, and we’ll try to contact you only through the means you request. If you have children under 18 attending, please indicate their age.
2. Registration
   The registration fee is per person attending. For children under age 9, a discounted registration fee is available, which includes childcare. Individuals age 9 and up must pay the regular fee, but parents of children under age 14 may choose whether to enroll them in childcare or attend the regular conference events.                                   

The cost of all meals is included in the registration fee. For those attending on Saturday only, lunch is included and other meals will be available on campus on a cash basis.

Please indicate if you have dietary requirements.

Cost:  $190 (Weekend)

$110 (Saturday only)

Children ages 8 and under: $90 (Weekend), $45 (Saturday only)

 

  3.    Lodging

The lodging fee is per person age 9 and up. Children under 9 may stay for free, provided they do not require their own bed. For families, suite-style rooms are available (two rooms with an adjoining bathroom). If you would like a suite, please call our office (after you have registered) to let us know. Please remember to register for lodging on campus by May 27!

If you would like to request a roommate, please indicate. Also, let us know if you have special accessibility needs.

  4.    Training

Lifewater training courses are reserved for certified volunteer Field Trainers. If you are interested in becoming an FT, please contact Lisa Zisa at lzisa@lifewater.org.

This year Lifewater is offering three different training courses following the weekend conference. Two courses (Exploring Transformational Mission (formerly CBTS) and Hygiene Training of Trainers) will be conducted on Chapman University’s campus. One course (Pump Repair) will be conducted at Lifewater’s training facility in San Luis Obispo (3.5 hours north of Orange).

If you would like to attend Exploring Transformational Mission or Hygiene Training of Trainers, you may sign up to attend the training only or both the weekend and the training. Lodging is available on campus.

If you would like to attend the Pump Repair training, you will need to stay in San Luis Obispo during the training. If you attend the weekend conference, a shuttle will be available to take you from Chapman University to San Luis Obispo and back when the training is complete. In that case, the registration fee is for the course, transportation, and meals only and does not include lodging. Please contact Fred Proby with questions about the Pump Repair training (fproby@lifewater.org). Remember to sign up by June 8!
