• We proclaim the gospel in word and action.
• We work alongside the poor to understand and respond to the complex, systemic causes of poverty.

We practice partnership.

• Recognizing that we cannot alleviate poverty alone, we work in partnership to bring about lasting improvements to people’s health and well-being.
• We believe that partnership honors others’ God-given gifts and responds to Jesus’ instructions to work together in unity.

We are committed to good stewardship.

• We recognize that our resources are entrusted to us to benefit the poor, and we strive to use them wisely to bring about sustainable solutions.
• We strive to glorify God by working with excellence, transparency, and accountability.
• We mentor partners, who in turn mentor communities, to discover their own gifts, assets, and abilities and to employ them for the common good.
