Anyone who has witnessed a mother’s satisfaction upon providing her children with safe, accessible water knows the value of addressing the global water crisis; anyone who has seen her healed dignity upon building and maintaining an effective latrine understands the value of doing something about world’s need for sanitation.

As the Christmas season approaches, Lifewater invites you to help bring hope home to the one billion people in our world who need to be able to drink their water without fearing sickness and death, to bring hope home to the two-fifths of our world’s population that lacks the security and dignity of a simple latrine. Safe water together with good hygiene and effective sanitation is a crucial step toward healthy families and communities.
