Praise God for successful trips in November and December

Uganda/Kenya: Volunteer Trainers Ken Moore, Rod Thompson and Sally Scholl assisted Lifewater partners Deliverance Church/JOY Drilling, Divine Waters Uganda, and Lifewater Kenya in advanced Biosand Filtration training.

Ethiopia: Staff member Janet Proby and Volunteer Trainer Diane Foss helped partner Kale Heywet Church with program evaluation. They coordinated a gathering of partner organizations to evaluate the effectiveness of Lifewater’s hygiene training curriculum.

Kenya: Staff member Janet Proby worked with partner GWAKO to plan a new phase in a USAID supported program in sanitation and hygiene.

Liberia: Staff member Cheryl Hertan teamed with Lifewater Canada to provide training in Community Health through Hygiene and Sanitation.

Leaving in January and February:
Kenya: Volunteer Trainers Dick & Sue Morris and Jonelle Stevens, and staff members Sam Moore and Laura Rose will train partner GWAKO in Community Health through Hygiene and Sanitation.

Uganda: Lifewater volunteers will train partners Deliverance Church/Joy Drilling and Divine Waters Uganda in Community Health through Hygiene, Biosand Filtration, and Hand Pump Repair.
