Campaign: Alternative Gifts

Instructions

The purpose of the Alternative Gifts campaign is to enable you to improve the access to water and health of the world’s neediest people while honoring an important person in your life. By giving a gift to Lifewater International in the name of a friend, family member, or colleague, you will be giving life to people who suffer from a lack of water, hygiene, and sanitation. The recipient will receive a card explaining the gift and its impact, and both of you will feel the joy of helping those who need it most. An Alternative Gift is perfect for Christmas, birthdays, Easter, Mother’s or Father’s day, or anytime you want to recognize a loved one.

If you want to do this on your own, simply go to www.lifewater.org and click on “donate now”. 

If you would like to do an alternative gift program at your work, church, or school:

1. Decide how many alternative gift cards you aim to use.

2. E-mail info/at/lifewater.org with your request and a mailing address. We will send you the cards.

3. Download and use the gift tracking sheet from this site to record the information and amounts that people are donating. Lifewater will send receipts for donations when you return the tracking sheet.

4. When someone makes an alternative gift donation, give them a card in return, which they can give or send to the recipient they have chosen.

5. When you have finished, return donations, the tracking sheet and any unused cards to:
