Campaign:
Safe Water Donation
Instructions
The Safe Water Donation campaign is designed
to help you become more aware of the degree to which you rely
on safe water in you own life and to raise support for programs
that help people around the world access, use, and maintain the
safe water they need to live. Simply make a small donation each
time you get a glass or bottle of water, a can of soda, or a
cup of coffee. Safe Water Donation encourages everyone
to be mindful of
those who lack safe water while reminding you to be thankful
for your own situation.
This campaign can be done by an individual or
group of any size.
Step by Step:
1. Decide whom you want to be involved in the Safe Water Donation
campaign. You can do it on your own or enlist your roommates,
class, church, youth group, team, family, neighbors or club.
2. Place a Safe
Water Donation sign with a collection receptacle
and place others in the area.
3. Place collection receptacles and signs near the drinking fountains,
soda machines, coffee pots, and other locations of your workplace,
school, church, or home.
4. Place a donation in the collection receptacle each time you
go for a drink.
5. At the end of a set period of time (e.g., one month, a season,
whenever the receptacles are full) collect the money and make
a donation to Lifewater.
6. When you have finished with the campaign, complete an Evaluation
Form and return it to us so that we can hear about your experience
and continue to find better ways to help you get involved.
7. If you have any questions or something to share, please contact
