These courses utilize the same training methods and curriculum that are used with Lifewater's in-country partners in Africa, Asia, and Latin America.
Courses available to the public periodically include Shallow Well Drilling, Hand Pump Repair, Biosand Filtration, Latrine Design & Construction, WASH in Schools, WASH Promotion, and Exploring Transformational Mission.
Please note that classes are kept small to encourage participation, and our volunteer field trainers are given priority in registration. Course fees are not tax-deductible.

A Heart for Service
Marcy and Dick Dorflinger are committed Lifewater office volunteers. When asked why they are so passionate about helping out, Marcy responded, "We didn't want to waste our retirement years as long as God gave us life and health. When we visited Lifewater's office to see if we could fit in, we were made to feel very welcome and useful right from the start--even though at that time we were of limited usefulness!
"As we have worked in the office and gone through Lifewater's field training, we have grown in our thankfulness for organizations that help meet physical needs and don't neglect the spiritual needs of the people they serve. I went on a trip with Lifewater to Uganda to see how they work in-country. I am so glad to be able to be a part of what God is doing through Lifewater to bring health to those with water, sanitation and hygiene needs."

Interning with Lifewater will reward you in ways you can't even imagine ahead of time.
"This wonderful opportunity to work with Lifewater International has been a true blessing. I am literally learning by doing. From day one, the staff at Lifewater has been very kind and overwhelmingly welcoming! Close to three months left of my internship, and I have learned so much already. Excited for more to come!" - Kaori Funahashi, Lifewater photojournalist intern
Lifewater does not have any internship positions available. Please check back at a later date.
