Your journey begins soon: February 22, 2012!

During the 40 days before Easter (Lent), take time to help those who need safe water. Inspire your church, small group, or family to do the same!

1. Inspire your church, small group, and family to drink only water or to give up another item or activity for the forty days before Easter (Lent). See below for promotional materials, including a great video, poster, and bulletin insert. Also check out the resources at waiting4water.org. Waiting4Water employs stories and photos from a wide array of water organizations, including Lifewater, to inspire churches and other groups to make a difference during Lent.
   
2. Keep track of the money you save.
3. Go through Lifewater's weekly devotional guide, young adult/intergenerational guide, or children's activity to inspire you as you work to help those who thirst. If you have already done Lifewater's devotionals, please visit waiting4water.org for another quality study guide.
   
4. Inspire others with your story! Please send a few lines about your experience to campaigns@lifewater.org so we can post them on our blog.
   
5. After Easter, donate the money you save to Lifewater International to help those who need clean water.
