Christian Clean Water Charity Wins Major Prize for Transparency

SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. (Dec. 9, 2019)— Lifewater International, a Christian clean water charity, today announces a double award for transparency and effective communication for the second year in a row.

The awards, distributed by Colorado-based foundation Counsel & Capital, recognizes Lifewater’s dedication to clear communication and data-driven results in all of the charity’s global programs.

Award winnings totaling $62,500 from Counsel & Capital for Best Annual Report and Most Effective Focus will be awarded to Lifewater in December of 2019. The nonprofit submitted their report in September of this year.

“We’re truly honored to be chosen by Counsel & Capital for the second year,” David LeVan, Lifewater Chief Operating Officer, said. “Providing real, transparent results of our work honors God and honors those who give so generously to us each year, and it will always be priority at Lifewater.”

Counsel and Capital is dedicated to helping Christian nonprofits connect with donors. It’s for this reason that their annual competition judges for transparency along with clarity of message and storytelling technique.

In 2019, Counsel and Capital awarded a total of $75,000 for “Best Annual Report,” “Best CEO Letter,” and “Most Effective Focus” to nonprofits who met or exceeded their expectations.
